Have two standard books that were in "graded" status since Monday (exactly 15 days). Called today and was told they were in encapsulation, quality control ... yada yada. Person helping me was helpful and said he would make sure books are expedited and go out by tomorrow. He also gave me my grades.

They must like you I have a 3 book standard submission at 21 BUSINESS days and still sitting in graded/QC. Next submission will probably go to the new competitor. Not only are the times terrible, but I have had lots of books lately that sit horrifically crooked in the slab.

It was explained to me. It was a S.S. invoice, and some info was missing. Once I contacted them to ask about it why it hadn't moved, they let me know and we got it corrected immediately. So not their fault, though a phone call/e-mail would have been great.

That puts it into perspective quite a bit better, but I agree that this problem could have been solved with a quick phone call rather than making you wait several extra weeks for your books.

went from verified to graded since yesterday morning, best news is that the book i was 99% sure was trimmed is universal

quality control on 8/14

shipped on 8/26 - the aggravation over TAT's quickly dissipates when every book is graded at least one click higher than estimated :cloud9:
