I gave them a call this morning, they stated that walkthrough's are taking 3-4 Business days just to receive them in. Sounds like they are utterly swamped as the customer service rep rattled off a canned statement about how many books they are getting a day, but she was pretty helpful.

I was watching a YouTube Video by The Comic Doctor (a CPS Specialist) and he said when he called CGC to ask what with the high wait times he was told they Are getting thousands of books a day.

If that's the case I wonder how much time they are spending reviewing each book

I had some books that went down in December Just come back

4/20/21 Received

WALKTHRU

Finalized / Imaged / Shipped

4/22/21

Accepted/received on Monday 4/20 at PO, shown as received by them on Tuesday 4/21, graded today Wednesday 4/21.

So in this case it took 1 day, not 1 week, to open the box and enter the submissions for a walkthrough.

Wow that is great for you. Called first thing, very helpful but replied they are 3-4 days behind at least, not sure how your made it through, unless my presser did not correctly mark the box, which he says he did, also said it would ship the next day for 3 weeks so not sure how confident I am in that. CGC did ask for the tracking number this morning to put a ticket in to find it so fingers crossed one day it shows up.

PKJ, I hope they find it pronto. Not cool at all.

My box did have 1 walkthru and 1 Express, and was marked WT and EX on the outside.  Maybe they pushed it through because it had 2 "specials"?

Thanks, Mine is just a run of the mill X-Men 1. They are probably sick of grading them.

I called because an Express submission didn't get logged in as received and the response was "oh well". It took 3 weeks just like every other package takes now. As long as it shows as it was delivered I wouldn't worry too much. You may just be stuck in the slow lane.

I am getting the same thing, you ever feel like you should have left a book alone, this one is proving that between the terrible communication from the presser to this. Live and learn.
