Best way to sell an expensive run?

43 posts in this topic

So I have just over 100 issues of Detective from 200-400 and 150 Action comics issues 200-400. These vary in condition but most are VG/FN. Should I sell as a run or break them down further. Here/Ebay/MCS congignment. I want these to move but im not sure what to ask for them on here. Im not trying to nickel and dime and maximize value but not wanting to give them away either.

I made a list so that someone could tell me if I needed to split lots at certain points or just sel the whole thing. I am looking for advise on the safest/easiest way to do this. I also need some help with pricing and demand. Is there a percentage of guide I should expect to get for this etc. I mosty just deal in CGC graded keys and there are far less factors involved in that.

you dont want advice, which is why you put every single issue number you have for sale. you wanted more traffic to see this thread. to sell these books. you could have gone to comics price guide, ebay completed listings, overstreet guide but you didnt because you wanted people in this thread to pm you to take them

I'd be tempted to send these to MCS on consignment. Certainly an easy way to sell them and they've been doing fairly well for prices. I'd also probably hold back any key books or classic Adams books to avoid getting cherry picked.

I have done pretty well with raw at MCS lately but alot of these issues are not in their grade requirement for consignment or are not currently buying.

Many of these are not worth individual auctions since their minimum fee is 5.00 per lot. Im leaning towards Ebay but wanted to see if any dealers or collectors deal in this sort of thing reguarly.

You seem to be doing a lot of complaining. I don't see any harm in th OP's thread. Unlike the one you started to mock him.

its what i do

Well, this kind of behavior won't be tolerated here. (thumbs u

there is another thread for selling your books. you not wanting advice on how to sell them, you just want someone to buy it. you should have posted pictures too. it would have helped.

What are you, psychic? The OPs question makes a lot of sense if you had actually bothered to read and then comprehend what was written.

You are not reading the thread, you just want to complain.
