Well, my boardie's list was totally on point, but also left room for interpretation. I'm not a fan of thinking, "Oh, he like Spider-Man, so here's a tradepaperback I had on my shelf." I like to figure out who the person is and figure what something original that he'd like that still falls within his wants.

 

Heck, for all I know, this doesn't work and all the boardies who've gotten stuff from me are like, "Why did he spend money on this ?"

Yeah, me too... But I'm honestly happy with whatever it is that my SS gets me so it isn't really a problem...

 

This year I have no idea what to get to my boardie! We have really similar tastes from the research I've been doing, but since I'm mainly a reader and don't really collect floppies anymore I'm having a difficult time deciding what he'd like!

I don't even remember what I said I wanted :lol: if my SS wants to do research all my slabs are up at myslabbedcomics.com and my CAF is listed below. I'm woefully low on early Wonder Woman, I have a Dave Stevens high grade registry set and half my collection is Signature Series. Believe me you will have no problem finding something I like.

 

 

Still opening it in private in case it's porn :lol: Which I'll just consider "underground"

Talk about polar opposites. I have no idea what to get. Especially since I have only one GA book in my collection. I'm wondering if this is an evil plan by Ham or he drew names from a hat? Either way, I'm enjoying looking at books and stuff I've never really thought about. lol

I usually go through all of the participants posts for the last 3 months to get a general idea of what they're like, you know, personality wise. Then, having a feel for the whole group of people involved, try to do my best to match them up with other boardies that share their likes and dislikes. I have found, from previous years of doing this, that it really raises the board camaraderie, and that's important to Architect. Happier boardies = happier boards = happier Arch.
