TAPE/DAT inputs. :roflmao:

I may have to put it on e-bay. It has to be worth a fortune.

I get a cut of that since my insults led to you digging it out. :sumo:

My paypal is parkistheawesomest@parkisawesome.com

Sweetness! The box is likely worth as much as the unit....

And I believe it was my post about the turntable, and my excitement that brought this out.But the pics and joy are enough for my cut.

Plus,I Miltipas Monster the poor man,I still owe him...

You three old farts would enjoy that.

Which one of you (or maybe all of you) still has an 8track player?

No 8 track, but I think I have some 78s around here

I used to buy bulk 8-tracks for ten cents each and splice the tapes together for my reel-to-reel.

I had a Pioneer RT 1011- L. I'm going to have to dig those pics out I took in my old house. Two Dynaco Mark 5 power amps, Audio Research SP - 3, Nakamichi tape deck. I also had a set of Magna Planer sound screens with sub woofers. The good old days where I could shake houses down the whole block. :acclaim:

I still have a working 8 track....and three record players and cassette decks set up around the house. The 8 track is seldom used though, more of a novelty...and good tapes for it are tough to find.

I used to have a quadrophonic 8 track when I was a kid.

And then I had a removable one for the Impala when I was a teen. Last tape I bought for it was Genesis Seconds Out.

I had a record player with one used 45 I must have played it 100 times.

Check this out.

My brother gave me one when I was a kid. It looked a lot like this...

He also gave me two 45s: Surfer Joe and The Purple People Eaters. I think I still have them somewhere.

Ha, I have a Sansui Power Amp that I bought over twenty five years ago that I haven't taken out of the box yet. I'll get around to it someday.

edit - I wonder if it still works?

edit again - now I am curious, I may have to go and take it out of the box. I don't remember what it even looks like.

Okay, just took it out of the box. Like brand new. My wife says I bought it in 1987. I wasn't sure about the year but I bought it at Music Craft on South Halsted in Homewood Illinois. I was replacing an Audio Research Sp 3 Pre Amp and two Dynaco Mark 5 power amps.

The tension is building. Unseen since 1987.

Wow. Looks absolutely brand spanking new!

I blew up my sound system recently, so I'm using an old amp that I have had in almost continuous service somewhere in the house since I got it. It's even older than your Sansui. lol

I had a Ferguson music centre in the late 70s, a Philips ghetto blaster in the 80s, and a proper Denon tape deck in the 90s. I wish I'd had a Nakamichi, but the Denon was good.

Is the dragon Welsh? Very red.
