The Signature Series Game

(Round #3)

Each round is worth a total of 10 possible points.

5 sigs at a time.

Contestants identify either signature, book, or both in post.

Each signature identification worth +1 point.

Each book identification worth +1 point.

Winners determined by time-stamp on post.

No hints. All items are continuously in play and will be archived if unsolved before next round.

Archived items can be solved at any time.

Examples:

If someone is first to correctly identify both the signature AND the book in the same post, it's worth +2. If only one is identified (sig or book), it's worth +1 and the corresponding book or sig is still in play.

Someone who put a lot of time and energy into trying to identify a book from Round X can solve it from the archives at "any" time regardless of the current Round.

Please identify the signatures and/or books by number to make it easy. Example:

1) Stan Lee, Amazing Fantasy 15

2) etc.

Here are the signatures:

Long Black Road

So, last night I'm watching Supernatural, and this amazing song comes on. It sounds like Jeff Lynne or early ELO, but I'd never heard it before. :o

I had to find it. :sumo:

After perusing some fan sites, I DID find it. The reason I'd never heard it before was because it was never officially released, except as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the American Hustle movie soundtrack. And it IS Jeff Lynne.

Turns out, Lynne cut it from his last release back in 2001 - Zoom. I have no idea why, since it's better than anything else on the album. Zoom also featured Ringo Starr and some of the last recordings of George Harrison.

Have a listen...it's the best Rock and Roll I've heard in a long, long time. :cloud9:

You gotta get up in the morning take your heavy load

And you gotta keep goin' down the long black road
