RMA are you aware of the history of the 10 clover field lane film. That it was a movie that had nothing to do with clover field but was changed by the studio to tie it into that movie to generate a greater revenue.

Yes.

While this may not matter to some, it's kinda of a move, similar to the rush job of FF to keep the license

I loved it. It was a monster movie, with all kinds of monsters.

That being said, I do want to see it. I like the actress and Goodman looks to do a solid job.

Duplicate Man - What more could you ask for in a plot.

1. You illegaly smuggle a creature from outer space for your own personal use.

2. The S.O.B. escapes

3. You go and have a duplicate made to kill it.

4. Your wife is sexually dissatisfied because your never around.

5. Duplicate starts coming to his senses.................and away we go.

This outer limits sounds interesting. I've never seen an episode

Now that's the most disturbing thing I have heard all day. You got a lot of catching up to do.

Listen to Jeffro. On the dustjacket of The Outer Limits Companion, Stephen King is quoted as saying "the best program of its type ever to run on network TV.”

I’d also recommend this blog/website by Mark Holcomb (and his brother?).

Holcomb Outer Limits blog/website

It contains a fantastic analysis of the show and select episodes.

I do wish they’d release it on Blu-ray.

The show was re-booted in ’95 and ran for many years. I’ve seen some good episodes from that one, but the original series is the one to seek out.

"There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can change the focus to a soft blur...or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear.

You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to...."

There are still many episodes I haven't seen. Seems like Twilight Zone was on TV more than Outer Limits when I was growing up. Maybe I'll splurge on the DVDs

Same. Outer Limits was also infinitely scarier to me as a kid as well.

You can't understand comic books without OL.

Len Wein left Watchmen over a disagreement with Alan Moore about "The Architects of Fear."

Anything with Robert Culp is automatically awesome. He's a guy's guy.

Especially when he's using a firearm...which is almost always.

Add Harlan Ellison and you get Mega-Awesome. :whee:
