That's a perfect mid-grade copy. Good paper, great eye appeal and the worst flaws on the back. Just my kind of book.

 

If someone could spot me $499,990 I'll be in the hunt.

Really nice looking book. Some stains on the back cover that I presume brought down the grade -- looks like the stain on the edge might extend into the book. But, man, wouldn't I love to have it!

I think the sale of the book for $68,500 back in the days was recorded in a previous OSPG book. Can't remember which one it was but that price certainly rings a bell.

It's incredible to see the front cover of a GA super-key so nice and clean; with rich, uniform color depth, when most everything you see from the 60's and 70's is so often fading and creaming.

 

Is this due to paper quality or... what?

I love that copy. The FC is so clean. At first glance, I wasn't sure if the crease on the spine was a tear or just a color break crease. Probably creasing. The stain on the BC does not bother me. Time to buy a lottery ticket.
