1000 comics in 2013 book club

I'm at 408 so far. Just passed 400 today.

 

The main bulk of my reading this month was Dr. Strange from Strange Tales #148 through the end of Strange Tales vol. 2 #19. 20 years of Dr. Strange in about a week. Now I am plowing through old Archies. Read about 40 issues of Archie so far this week.

All New X-Men #11. Started off so well but now is just silly.

 

Avengers #10. Tries too hard to be grand.

 

FF #6. Possibly the first appearance of comic book alien transvestism.

 

Fantastic Four #7. OK.

 

Guardians of the Galaxy #2. Excellent.

 

Captain Marvel #11 & #12. A couple of decent issues at last.

 

Captain Amrerica #5 & #6. Terrible.

 

Daredevil #24 & #25. Excellent.

 

Hawkeye #10. Still great.

 

Indestructible Hulk #7. Some ugly art in this book.

 

New Avengers #4 & #5. Getting interesting.

 

Iron Man. #8 & #9. A vast improvement on recent issues.

 

Iron Man #258.1. A comic book out of time.

 

Morbius the Living Vampire #4. Dull.

 

Red She Hulk #65. Not great.

 

Superior Spider-Man #9. Excellent!

 

Thanos Rising #2. Gripping!

 

Thunderbolts #8. Yawn.

 

Ultimate Wolverine #3. Terrible.

 

Ultimate X-Men #26. Boring.

 

Uncanny Avengers #7. Bad writing complimented by crappy art.

 

Uncanny X-Men #5. Double yawn.
