Okay,

Been an interesting week, Saturday... the Batman 9...

Today:

Action Comics 28 for supposedly less than guide.

$586 - I only say what I paid because it is obviously a public sale so you can easily find out.

NOW I am done.

This was the book I went hm about.

I mean, who wouldn't love this cover. Guy is fricken getting thrown off the roof.

In a related story, one of my friends took home the Action 23.

ASM 125 9.9 went for $4700, while WD 1 9.9 is in five figures? Talk about Bizarro World. :screwy:
They are both over priced DREK.

I think in this case the WD #1 in 9.9 might be more desirable in the long term. There might actually be more ASM125's out there in high grade than WD1's.

I think both will lose money in the longterm. NM98 comes to mind, and I enjoy Deadpool WAY more than the walking dead.

Are you sure? Census shows 1 ASM 125 in a 9.9 (and looks to be a recently resubbed 9.8 per a thread here a few weeks ago). WD 1 in 9.9 shows 8 (11 if SS is included). Low print run or not on WD, will there be that many more 9.9 representations of a 40 year old ASM book (pre-direct distribution, no less)?

What a difference in prices, from a "supposed" sale of $91,500 two years ago to $29,805 tonight. Talk about taking a bath. doh!

Yuh!!!

I wish I could have taken advantage of that price! That and the Suscha 98 were the only two that interested me but the 98 was too expensive yesterday for about the worst miswrapped copy I've seen!

I should have freaking sent my kids to public school next year and bought that Ohio 4 Instead of paying their tuition! :censored:
