Anybody know yet which retailer is going to have the best special features version of the bluray?

Found the preorder link on Target. There will be an exclusive feature on Target Ticket when you redeem the digital copy titled "An In-Depth Look at Creating the Galaxy".

Walmart looks like it may have the exclusive slipcovers again. Currently, there is a Walmart exclusive with a Star-Lord slipcover listed for preorder. It doesn't mention if there will be the different ones, but I'm guessing there will be. They also advertise "free gift with purchase", but it has no details on what that may be.

Some clearer shots available. Gunn confirmed Warlock was in the cocoon (not the guy with the red cape that on quick glance some hoped was him). Anyway, here's clearer pics of the guy in the red cape along with 2 cocoon shots.

Beta Ray Bill

Where are you guys seeing "cape?"

I see a red jumpsuit/prison suit of some sort. How would a cape follow each of the guy's legs down to the shins when he's sitting down?

Peace,

Chip

Yeah, what I'm seeing is a sleeveless jumpsuit.

Here is what a Korbinite looks like (Beta Ray Bill's race).

Korbinites.jpg

Korbinites - A humanoid race with light orange skin, averaging 6'2" in height, and originating in the so-called "Burning Galaxy." Beta Ray Bill is a Korbinite. However, Bill has been greatly genetically modified; normal Korbinites are bald and without noses and ears, while Bill has an equine face and pure-white eyes. First seen in Thor #337 (November 1983).

The shadowed object above and to the right of his head looks like his Stormbreaker hammer, although it could just be something attached to the device behind him. It would make sense to have it held tantalisingly just out of reach.

Or, it's just pareidolia, of course.

On a side note, the Korbinite looks a lot like "Den" by Richard Corben. Corben = Korbin = Korbinites? Hmmm....

I'd post a picture of Den, but he's nude in all of them.

Amazing!

BOX OFFICE: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Now 2014's Second Highest Grossing Movie

------------------

This weekend, Guardians of the Galaxy become the second highest grossing movie of 2014 at the worldwide box office with over $765.1 million in total so far. It took that position from Disney's Maleficent starring Angeline Jolie, and has easily surpassed the hauls of better known comic book movie franchises like X-Men: Days of Future Past, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Still #1? Transformers: Age of Extinction, a movie it's hard to imagine being topped this year thanks to the $1.087 billion the Michael Bay helmed release has so far grossed.
