JL, as I said I do not agree with Ebay yankin them off the site. But, any kid with an Ebay account could buy them. That's why I don't think they should be offered without some kind of disclosure, stating that anyone under 18 can't purchase them. Then, some kind of age verification must apply.

If I could just weigh in quickly:

 

I'm having a hard time following the disagreement. I think a lot of what is being argued resutts from vary definitions of pornography

 

In a straight dictionary definition, pornography is any depiction of erotic behaviour -writing or pictures - intended to cause sexual stimulation.

 

But for a lot of people, pornography suggests something illegal or immoral - or close to that.

 

If you think about it, based on the dictionary standard, a lot of very good movies have some pretty hot scenes that certainly cause sexual stimulation. They aren't considered "porn" as you don't see the full on sex act.

 

So I suggest the it is better to think of the material as "adult only". Cherry Poptart and Playboys ought to be sold to adults. Regardless of what the covers look like, we know the inside's are for adults.

 

I don't know what eBay is thinking about the Nazi Zombie comics the OP were talking about. But the same standard still works. Are they suitable for persons under the age of 18? Or do you need an adult level of maturity to be reading them?

Less gore than TWD and certainly way less profanities.

No racism or anti-semitism except the implication that they must be by default as they are Nazi's.

Some other sellers still have them up.

When I phoned ebay about them taking down my Cherry Auctions they told me not to put the auctions back on and when I asked them what would happen they suggested the most severe action that would be taken was the auctions would be removed again.

 

I think you'd be good to go in a week or two, but full disclosure, I never did relist the Cherrys.
