I like how he thinks I never knew what Cherry Poptart was - I did an IMAGE SEARCH, not a web search, thinking maybe I could post some pics here proving or disproving either one of our points. I was right in my point that Cherry is graphic enough to be considered porn, and wrong thinking I could post pics of it here. I also never claimed to be an expert on anything. Does anyone else feel like Playboy is a joke these days though? It was that magazine that all pre pubescent boys fantasized about, but once hit 18 they realized how lame it was. Internet porn doesn't help.

And I believe Edgar Rice Burrows got his start in Playboy. Even Ray Bradbury initially wrote Fahrenheit 451 for Playboy.

 

I don't think we are seeing that level of literature in the magazine anymore. I'd love for someone to prove me wrong though.

That is true- look it up. Taught the book last year. It was written in vignettes and later collected.

 

Edit: Hmmm maybe he didn't "initially" write it for Playboy. I failed all those students... Looks like he edited it and serialized it. Then he edited the book again so there is a bunch of editions of the novel out there.
