CGC Loses Valued Team Member

Hello everyone,

 

It deeply saddens us to say, but for those that do not know, we at CGC lost an important member of our grading team and a dear friend Tuesday, Phil Kaltenbach.

 

Phil was part of our original grading team, making the move with us Jersey folks, and setting up camp in Florida. His experiences, knowledge of comics, and passion for collecting were unmatched, making him not only an integral part of our grading team, but one of the most interesting people we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. You'd never leave a conversation with him without learning something new, or gaining a new perspective on something. He's left with us his years of knowledge which will always be a part of CGC, and his friendship which will always be a part of us as individuals. He was truly one of a kind, and will be missed.

 

Phil was survived by his two younger brothers, Tom and Chris, and his son Philip, 19.

 

We'll be posting a full obituary in a little while.
