Here is just a question out of curiousity but has anyone ever seen like double pages within the book? Does cgc list this on a their slab and how does it effect grading?

I have a few books with double pages. I believe that CGC gives them qualified grades, but I don't have any examples.

Yep, that sounds right to me.

Seems odd that it would get a qualified grade since its a manufacturers defect.

Yeah but an extra page can be removed thus it would get a blue label which is probably why double covers get blue labels too. The example you show has an extra hologram put on a page where it isn't suppose to be which can't be removed.

Quick question. Are there trends with double covers. In other words, is it more likely that one book will have multiple double cover examples vs another issue. At first blush it would seem that if the machine made a mistake once it would do so more than once.

hm Yes I do believe so I have noticed several copies of Amazing Spider-Man #100 with Double Covers also ASM #312 seems to have several exaples and their is an Avengers issue "I think #87" that I have seen many Double and even a Triple cover of. I think DiceX is the one that said Static cling is the probable cause of Double covers so maybe books that were printed on very hot and dry days would have been much more likely to have this production flaw but thats just spectulation on my part. (shrug)

We could put that to the test on books with double covers on when they were published, i.e. fall or spring.
