I had already pre-ordered Ivy and Harley, and had planned to stick with the Bat-Universe characters, but there's no way I can turn down that Canary.

 

It's amusing to see how Warner/DC is slowly building the Gotham Girls/Women of DCU stable of characters into an edgier answer to Disney's Princesses. I expect that the branding/licensing will continue to grow beyond the borders of the in-house collectibles wing. It's already pretty saturated as is. (This will be, what, at least the third and maybe the fourth Harley statue DCD has released in less than a year?)

 

As much as I love Harley, I'm still astonished by how popular she's grown. After perhaps Deadpool and Venom, I think she has to be the most popular "new" character in comics, one of the very few that stuck.

 

Anyway, yeah, these are cool. I may be in for the whole set.

I wouldn't say complaining, I'd say having a gentlemanly conversation about classical feminine qualities through the ages.

 

The fashion industry for several decades now seems to think that unfeminine looking females are attractive. Some of us politely disagree.

 

It's not a conversation about 'cute face' or 'boobies' - Kate has both of those. It's about the entire package and what masculinity has defined as feminine throughout the ages. For me personally, the hips play a large role in that picture.

 

These statues seem to respect those values.
