Quick question... has a sales thread ever been locked?!

Say I missed this one.

Were inside pics posted or how would anybody know?

99+% of the human race (including me) never heard of or saw that book before.

(shrug)

There's freaky nudity in that book?

I'ma have to hunt down a copy for myself. hm

So, out of curiousity...what's the difference in selling that and selling a Playboy?

Is it general nudity that's frowned upon, or is it just freakish nudity?

Not true. She was in her underwear and the main problem was she was wearing a thong. Her backside was completely viewable. The angle of the shot was suggestive of someone filming her in a sitting position. It truly looked like any opening to short porn film.

It was indeed the opening to a short film scene. Ironic that you knew that... :baiting:

You are a newbie so you don't know my history here. Last time I approached the offender it didn't end well. I will not bother to contact the offender now or in the future. The mods know full well what type of images sets me off. I am not a sexually repressed but your animated gif (IMO) was way too revealing and high suggestive.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you come out of left field in a thread of mine and tell me I had no respect for women? Why not send me a respectful PM asking me to take it down first? Maybe you should have some respect for your fellow boardies...?

And am I still in a newb although I have over 2000 posts and have been here almost a year?

I believe I asked what were in the links at the beginning, I think I was ignored. Someone else mentioned it too, but it seems to be more fun to go off on tangents.

The answer to David's question is yes, sales threads have been shut down.

Can we stop yelling at each other over really silly things and go back to sharing things relating to comics?

All this I'm less sexually repressed than you are stuff, is going to make me blush one of these years;)

and that is a gender neutral blush.

Was it a porno or some PG-13/R rated film? :baiting:

Honestly had no idea what it was from when I made it my signature. It was later suggested that I find it. It is indeed a pretty decent porno. Go look it up- it gets much better than the gif.

Yes.

lol

Dumb question.

I don't listen to anything BlowUpTheMoon says though. He follows me around and corrects my grammar for some reason... :taptaptap:

Well then even though I liked hula hoop girl, if it's a gif from a porno, even if it's a PG-13 part of the porno, it probably shouldn't be posted on a public message board like this.

*sniff* I'll miss her. :sorry:

It has to do with how this country was founded. The pilgrims who came to the US came here to escape religious persecution (or so they teach us in elementary school) but in actuality came here because they were upset that Europe was changing and was becoming too "lax" from a religious standpoint. When they arrived here they conquered land through violence. Ours is a country founded on blood and steel as opposed to Europe. So yes we are ok with violence because yay but not ok with nudity. I know it is stupid.

I don't totally disagree with your sentiment, but you might want to rethink the portion in bold. Pre-America Europe was hardly pacifist. That just isn't historically accurate.

lol

Post Pre-America Europe wasn't exactly pacifist either.

You got to be kidding?

The Pilgrims (Puritans actually) came here to escape those pacifist Inquisitions huh?

:roflmao:

And Blood and Steel was the trademark phrase of Bismark's Germany (Prussia).

Then of course there were those darn World Wars, which the rotten Americans started... oh wait...

:ohnoez:

:preach:

I totally do not understand your post. Why would I be kidding?

I was obviously referring to the World Wars.

This is a MESSAGE BOARD.

I teach in a pretty rough urban school. My department chair got on me after an observation about how I didn't correct my student's spoken grammar. I just couldn't see myself doing that though. They would hate me and not want to speak in my class.

Then the English teacher across from me won teacher of the month. Her spoken grammar is a mess. But she has the same fashion sense as my department chair. hm

I was speaking to the first poster in that mess of quotes not you my dear man.

The one who thinks the first European Americans left Europe because there was too much peace there.

The 30 Years War sure was such a swell time.
