fifties
Both the Shock 13 and MM 12 have great stories in them. "Squeeze Play" illustrated by both Frazetta and Williamson, -script by both Gaines and Feldstein, terrific on both levels. "Shangri La" in MM 12, great horror yarn. porcupine48, badback83, KolmarAvenue and 1 other

Popular Post Drkegg
Took forever to finally get it in hand, but this new addition to my PCH collection has quickly become a cornerstone of the collection. Popular Post Albert Thurgood
Seems like an age since I bought this but it finally arrived. This is the last in the EC "Weird..." range and the last pre-code EC SF book. This is a classic Frazetta cover, and this copy was in the best condition of any I have seen for sale so am very glad to get it! porcupine48, goldust40, Jayman and 9 others

That June 1955 cover date has to be the latest W/O the code seal of any comic book of the period. Most had the seal beginning with the March 1955 issues, but I think EC pushed it with one or two other titles for a month more.
Albert Thurgood
Thanks! I was going to say "last pre-code" but didn't know if there would be another issued later in the same month. They certainly went out with a magnificent iconic Frazetta composition.

Popular Post Nic8612
Pulled the trigger on this grail. Full spine split, but complete and the cover looks fantastic, all things considered. Is he a salesman or is that a box of chocolates on the ground by the door? I’m sure if I had this book and read it I would have figured it out by now, but from just staring at the cover I have no clue. Can anyone enlighten? badback83

No, I just looked at my copy; the second story, illustrated by Jack Kamin, is titled, "The Trap", and there's a panel showing this scene from a distance, like from an upper story window. It's a life insurance scam plot, and he ain't dead...YET, eh eh. badback83, Hutch88, Jayman and 1 other 1 1
