johnenock
The Dover Boys book is published by Archie and it's in the Gerber. Never noticed the cover to number 2 and assumed it was a one shot or something. Kinda had a "horror/Mystery" look to it so I put it on the want list. Thanks Guys. johnenock
OK here's what I found out on the Dover Boys: Listed in the Gerber as issue 1 Issue 2 is listed in Gerber as a 5 but is not pictured(probably why it's not on my want list) Listed in OSPG as a 2 issue series with number 2 having no month but still coming out in 1950. Number 1 has the month September on it. That's all I have. Anyone have Issue number 2?
Scrooge
I'd be curious to know as well since it's not pictured in the GCD either. Is this one of those phantom books?

Jayman
My last pre-code fling of '07... First a recent VCC pick-up, although the shrunken head is killer it has always been that shocked expression of that bald guy that makes me love this cover! Next is a book that I've been after for a while now and am happy to end 2007 with a decent copy in my possession. This next book just looks great in hand! Awesome full body shot of Frankenstein in those deep, rich blue clothes really makes this cover pop! And lastly this great cover by Lou Cameron! johnenock
Great books, Jayman. I especially like the JIM 16. Reminds me of this one. Hey, what's going on with the same issue but different covers? And, I love the horror issue covers to those Franks. Way to end the year with a bang! Jayman
That's the rare "whole vampire" variant cover! I was waiting to see if anyone noticed, just keeping you on your toes! I always wondered what that cover would look like with the vampire fully transformed so I did a wee bit of photoshopping on it. Here's the true book... Jayman
The Frankenstein turned out to be my fav of the bunch too! This is my first Franky and the second horror issue I believe. The full body taking up the cover looks terrific imho! Franky's are very cool. They are larger sized issues and all are very appealing in a way that's hard to describe to someone who is just looking at a scan. shiverbones
And a personal favorite of mine, since I first saw it in an overstreet when I was in 6th grade or so. I have had a couple copies over the years, but this one has the most intense color I have seen on one.
