adamstrange
Another one received today -- Lost Worlds 6, December 1952 (yeah!), Standard. Cool giant ants cover that has nothing whatsoever to do with the fairly tepid science-fiction stories inside, even the cover story. Overstreet notes Toth artwork. Did he draw this cover? Looks probable to me. I'm not sure what he did inside -- not his best work. Maybe the lead story, Men and Fire. Jack Definitely Toth cover and interior. Nothing "standard" about his art! Some BC chipping + tanning knocks it down, but the all important FC still looks good!!

GoldGuy-migration
That ghostly living leg cover on Dark Mysteries #13 is really cool. Is it still standard protocol for prison staff to walk around with whips in their hands? That is a funny detail in that drawing. Dark Mysteries have some of the best precode horror covers. I always enjoy seeing them.
Jayman
I guess that's the same protocol that leaves prisoners in their cells to starve and turn to skeletons too! Welcome to the Boards! (thumbs u

JohnT
Been a while since I have posted my recent purchases so here they are. Dark Mysteries #13. How does he recognize that as Tom's leg??? And is the "Terror of the Hungry Cats" related to the cover? That's a great assortment of sickening comics!
