*paull*
Right... I forgot about that cover! I love those pink Farrell covers. And I'm all man, too.
johnenock
From my main man Andrew at GA Collectibles. A great Everett vampire-c. The slab is a little dirty, but I'll be freeing it soon.

johnenock
Wow, sweet book John! Everett Atlas horror cover.... (The Man With A Tail is kinda cute, too...) Thanks! Has anyone else noticed that the man being attacked looks a lot like other men being attacked in Everett covers? I'll do some research today and see if I can come up with more concrete evidence... adamstrange
(The Man With A Tail is kinda cute, too...) I was thinking the same thing! Nice comic JK -- if you get a chance scan it after it's been liberated.

selegue
"Shrowd" -- HAW! I wonder whether an editor got his butt kicked for that after it hit the stands. You're right that covers don't get much pinker than that! Jack Ghastly, add Farrell to the list of publishers that can get away with using pink. They had a bunch of covers in various shades of pink and purple. They even used hot pink for the cover of an issue of Strange Fantasy! Don't forget Voodoo! *paull*
You think anyone cared back then? I doubt the editor even noticed! However, I do really like the Farrell stories, so I have to give the editor some credit...
Norrin_Radd
Perhaps a whole 'nother thread can be started on astonishingly lame post-code horror covers. Another beauty.

october
My first two (non-LB Cole related) pre-code purchases. I REALLY like these covers. I know Harveys are relatively common. Are these typical of prices paid for nice looking books in the 4.0-5.0 range? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...me=STRK:MEWN:IT http://cgi.ebay.com/CHAMBER-OF-CHILLS-24...1QQcmdZViewItem

However those are definitely two of the better covers in the run, the 24 being the issue that Gerber omitted for no apparent reason.

However, CoC #24 is a tough find, so you got a good deal on it! The other purchase is right in line, bro!
october
Thanks guys. I didn't think I overpaid, but it's always good to double check. I would have gone as high $60 for the 24, as I think that cover is as good or better than 95% of the pre-code horror covers I have seen. I honestly figured it would go WAY over guide.
