adamstrange
My first Bethlehem with added mummy goodness: I love this issue. Inside, Maneely direw wicked riff on the mummy theme that's funny and horrifying at the same time.
sterlingcomics
Hey gang! I'm trying to compile a "Top 10" list of pre code horror books that I'd like put on my future want list. I guess I'd like to get recommendations on: [*]Classic covers [*]Goriest stories/art [*]Artist preferences Right now, I've added Tomb of Terror #12, Tomb of Terror #15, Tomb of Terror #16, and Black Cat Mystery #50, and Chamber of Chills #23 and #24. Maybe on Mister Mystery #12. ECs need not apply, as I'm already sold on their content/quality (but not collecting). As you can tell, I'm going for the classic/gore covers right now. Nothing like decomposing rotting flesh in various shades of colors that only a golden age book can bring.
Norrin_Radd
Some of my favorites... [*]Dark Mysteries 15 [*]Journey Into Mystery 7 [*]Mister Mystery 1 [*]Out of the Night 5 [*]Out of the Shadows 1 [*]Voodoo 8 [*]Weird Horrors 4 [*]Weird Mysteries 12 And Haunt of Fear 12 and Vault of Horror 26, but those are EC. I'd add the following: Black Cat Mystery 45 Blue Bolt Weird Tales 115 Mysterious Adventures 13 Web of Evil 5 Witchcraft

If so, go through all the titles that start with "Weird" -- some great issues.
johnenock
Howz about Manhunt 14-- not particularly gory but way cool. However, I'm partial to this one Sterling:

sterlingcomics
Funny you mention "Weird" didn't CCA forbid the use of Weird in titles and only relaxed them towards the dawn of Bronze? I don't have a gerber. Need one...
