He just purchased a collection from a guy, and this one was in there. I've wanted a copy for years because I collect swamp monsters. I'm really excited to read it tonight. Unfortunately for me he knew that price was BS and he looked up previous sales. The most recent we could find was a graded 4.0 (or 4.5 I can’t remember) that sold in Feb 2020 for $2000. He then offered me the comic for $1500 and I said “sold”. There were some Avon’s, Standard’s, EC’s, Atlas, and a single Harvey Tomb of Terror in there too. I was able to buy a couple of Bill Everett Atlas ones too. Needless to say, I wanted to buy everything he had, but I'm a teacher, not a movie star and the $1600 I spent is about all I can afford. There were about 40 issues of those. Probably the most expensive one in the collection is the first appearance of Krypto the super dog.
