I was wondering the same thing. Spending my money on items that will quickly increase in value and then plummet is my favourite past of the show (....sadly I am not joking, I love exclusives).

I don't go to every con on the circuit any more, I only do a few shows a year, but I have been doing SS for 12 years (and many of you would recognize me from the years I ran the service for CGC at their booth as the SS Director from 2005-2010).

 

But honestly... these other guys want your business, and they hustle for it. I'm just offering a service for a couple of select shows like Fan Expo (a show for which I used to be a comics coordinator but left to devote more attention to my comic shop)... but our success rates are quite high (in getting sigs and in maintaining grades) --- I just don't want to deal with the volume they do - I'd need a lot more Migraine Strength Advil.

 

Kevin, you have done a great job. I have had you get a number of SS autos for me and it was always a painless experience. I really appreciated that you offered this service. I will see you in Toronto.

 

On another note...really looking forward to the show.

Stan Lee signing tickets will be available at the Stan Lee signing booth (C39 North Building) for $60 each beginning Thursday Preview night. You buy your signing tickets directly from the Stan Lee people and can use any Sig Series facilitator and their witnesses available at the show. I do not know when they will be setup on Thursday but I have been told they will be there sometime Thursday to begin ticket sales.
