Two I've never nominated before!

Nick Fury AoS #6 and Avengers annual #2

Agreed! A truly unappreciated book!

Is it me or is that cover depicting a horrible mismatch?

Never read the story.

These are all great choices...I'm a little surprised so many people like ASM 28, but it's so distinctive that I see the appeal, certainly.

Hmmm...I have a list to make now... hm

28 & 50 are by far my two favorite Spidey's.

FF 25 -- great Hulk/Thing battle scene and striking color scheme

Actually, the newer version of the Avengers beat the older, evil alternate reality team. Cap kept Thor from his hammer for more than 60 seconds and then decked Don Blake. The Panther somehow got the Hulk to turn back into Bruce Banner. I can't remember how Hawkeye won, and Goliath used his experience to knock out Giant-Man. It would seem to be a mismatch but wasn't.

And it is one of my favorite Avengers tales and covers, of course. When I bought my first Annual #2 back issue in the late 70s, I couldn't imagine a better issue.

There's nothing like Jason and Barton sharing awesome covers with us! :cloud9:

There's a lot of people I can hang with on here. Barton is NOT one of them!!! (worship)(worship)

You can hang pretty well with him in Avengers, until he breaks out the early big guns. :cloud9:
