Book is complete, pq is light tan to ow, staples discolored, but not rusty everything else should be apparent (hopefully) in the scans. Not sure what all the chipping does on the grade. Thank you in advance for any input.

I concur - 4.0... for me, the chipping hurts as does the discoloration/"dirt" along the spine and on the back... good candidate for cleaning and pressing, which might move it into 4.5 or even 5.0 territory (?)

Thanks everyone for the input, I was thinking 3 maybe 3.5 realistically and 4.0 a long shot. Not sure why the discoloration is so dark, it's much lighter in hand. That said, there are stains @ top and bottom on the back as Thunsicker pointed out.

4.0 on the best of days. Cleaning may help, but I'm not sure if the paper is strong enough for it. At this level the chipping probably isn't much of a factor.
