Appreciate the kind words :)  It has been a few years in the making - the MOS18 4th and 5th and Supes 75 4th were by far the hardest copies to get

What you ask? I’d say a lot has to do with the demographic of collectors who got started on comics because of this story arc. Thank you for starting this thread, and for your contributions to this community.

This is great, but aren't you missing (from the photo) the 1st print direct edition standard cover (in 9.8)?

Triple cover 9.8 Superman: The Man of Steel 18!  So happy to have added this to my collection!  I nicknamed this book The Beast because with three covers it must be bulletproof!  Not that it matters, but the 1st cover looks like a 9.8 to me too!  Grade date is 3 March 2022… if the original owner is reading this, THANK YOU!!  I love this book!

That's exactly what it means.   So it is a triple cover, which is pretty rare for DC Comics.   The rarest  I have is a quadruple cover for Batman 394.   They get pretty thick when that happens.

Well it took a few years to put together the above two sets and after finally doing it in Feb of this year it may now be time to let it go ........... my wife and I bought a house last night (exciting but terrifying) so I am combing through the collection to see what can be sold to free up some cash for Closing Costs.  If I decide to sell (still on the fence) I would prefer they go to a fellow collector - so PM me if you have interest (in each case I will hold onto the first print and then sell the subsequent prints as a set).

Has anyone seen a graded version of the error variant of the Platinum Superman 75?  If yes, I would love to see that image. I believe the error is that there is no serial number printed on the back cover.  Here's the comic book I'm talking about, courtesy of @glynn and son cgc graded comics
