HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!

 

Beau's widow, Sissy Watson Trussell has informed me that she just received the insurance payout, earlier than anticipated.

 

With your help she has managed to pay bills (keeping her credit undamaged), eat, and pay for some of the costs associated with Beau's passing. Furthermore, and possibly even more importantly, you let her know that there is still an awful lot of good in the world.

 

This is no longer an immediate need situation, so we will no longer be accepting book donations. If you donated books that haven't sold, please accept our thanks, but we do not want to take advantage since this is no longer a charity action. Again, thank you so much.

 

TJ and I have have decided to shut down this thread for now to give us time to reassesses our goals for the rest of Beau's collection. It has been a real pleasure knowing that the books that Beau loved are getting into the hands of board members who will love them as well. We will likely start a new sale thread at a later time, so that we can do the same with the rest of his books.

 

Within the week we will PM everyone who still has books on hold from this thread so that we can get your addresses and collect for books and shipping costs.

 

Again, thank you all for your support and kind words and thoughts. This has been an experience that has left an indelible mark on myself and Sissy. The members of this board are amazing.
