Seeing as his cocoon is featured in the end credits of Thor 2, I would say he is going to be quite a part of everything, at least I hope so.

I didnt notice the cocoon. Any pics online of it? Was it with the Collector?

Does Marvel: The End tie into the storyline/mythos, too?

 

The early-2000s trilogy of Infinity Abyss/Marvel Universe: The End/Thanos doesn't tie into IG/IW/IC, but pick them up if you're a Starlin fan (although Thanos #7-12 were by Giffen/Lim).

 

IIRC Starlin wrote The End intending it to be canon, but it was later retconned by editorial as an out of continuity tale.

Didn't Thanos casually backhand Cap, and snap his neck, or something crazy?!?!?

 

I don't think so. A primary attack group went to get Thanos and he put a stop to that instantly

Also, finding Thanos Quest on eBay in 2005 is what got me back into comics. I couldn't find it as a kid, and when I had some disposable income, I found the two books. . . then, I found a comic shop around the corner. . . then, I had a pull list. Well, you get the idea.

Never noticed before but why is Cap's head twisted right when Thanos back handed him from that same side? Shouldn't his head be to the left?

Nah, Ryan's been talking about IG forever. I'm trying to find the thread months ago where he said IG was easily one of his favorite runs. I almost had to pick up a Thanos Tee for him from the LCS over the summer. No FF52 conspiracies Jim! Do NOT want to see this thread derailed!
