Since this has been announced I have become much more interested in the X-Men movies and franchise again. My interest level has went from a 5 to a 9!

I am now really looking forward to future X-Men movies and looking for back issues in dollar boxes. (thumbs u

Re the films, I like the fact that the films are starting to interlink and be continuous, much like the comics.

The thing with the DOFP 141 book though is that the cover is iconic. It is like GI Joe 21 where it is a book that other artists often pay homage to. I could easily see 141 maintaining part of the surge in value that it has enjoyed these last few months even after the hype has died down.

Angel is such a non entity in the other movies, why would it even matter? Why would you want them to start being faithful to the source now?

Exactly that is why you have Apocalypse mutilate him and turn him into one of coolest X-men characters of all time.

 

A couple of friends of mine who are not comic books fans all said to me, "does this mean we finally get to see Archangel?"
