Please take a look. I scanned it in the bag because I didn't want to risk doing any more damage to the spine. For purposes of assigning a grade, please assume the back is equivalent to the front. What do you think? I'm planning to submit this one just to prevent more damage.

Assuming the back is no worse than the front cover I would guess 2.0 for your copy IMHO!

I find it really difficult to tell the difference between a 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5

1.8 is my guess. Yes the extreme low end are judgemental

If the staples are attached, I would say a grade between 1.5 and 1.8.

Unless it has brittle paper, but it does not seem so from the scan (maybe the upper part?).

I got the grade today. 2.0

Cream to off white pages.

It's going to look great in the slab and I don't have to worry about the cover separating from the staples.

I emailed CGC with before and after pictures. Don't know if they'll do anything about it. I can definitely say that the book is less appealing now than before.
