Great cover on that book. Oddly and perhaps due to my focusing on Ace doubles, I had just seen this cover for the first time about 2 weeks ago.  On a related note Asimov's first novel of this series "Foundation" still holds up pretty high on the lists of classic sci-fi novels of the 50's.  See the link below to classic sci-fi of 1934 to 1963, compiled by hilobrow, with some iconic pulp magazines included.
