The 5.5 was nice but spider creases on bottom and top must have played a part for lower price....no chipping is nice but spider crease were prevelant

All the record setters were very clean with maybe one spider crease which didn’t detract from eye appeal

Are you making excuses for the sale price?

If it didn't have issues it wouldn't be a 6.5. It's a mid grade book, not a high grade book.

It was a decent looking 6.5

$67000 is not a horrible price for a 6.5.

Unlike Gator I'm not retired.

Ok so whoever bought that 5.0 and 5.5 feel free to consign it on my website.  I saw the last AF #15 buyer zipped that copy over to Ebay in a flash.

The copy that went for less also had some gnarly MC and significantly worse "eye appeal".

Definitely no record setting prices on any of these AF 15's in this auction here.

I guess it certainly doesn't help when you have a whole slew of them in various condition grades one after the other in the exact same auction.  Definitely not the best selling situation for the consignors of these copies here.

Why don't you send him a PM since he is the acknowledged expert on the boards here when it comes to relative values for equivalent books with varying levels of PQ.
