7.5/8.0 seems to me. My concern is under the V is that a pin hole?

FC definitely looks to e VF range..... and that cover looks especially nice in real life..... it's one of those books where no scan can do it justice.... the process blue is sublime. GOD BLESS...

I dont have to many samples of my own to judge from but of the 3 CC books I have submitted 2 came in higher than listed by .5 and one was spot on. I think it could be an 8 but I would not be surprised with a 7.5. That is a great copy.

I would say 7.5... a few too many flecks missing along spine for VF IMO...but I could see it being called that...depends on BC and PQ...

Good catch on the tape pull, kind of blends in with the moon at first glance.

 

Without it, I was thinking 7.5, but with it, I can't see more than 6.0, though I tend to find tape pulls more objectionable than most stains of a similar size.

Nice book considering its golden age,I do not have many examples of 8.0 to draw from own collection but the ones I do have show similar traits minus the tape pull.
