I didn't say anyone was a jerk. What I said was, the reason I wouldn't exclude everyone outside of Canada from buying my items is that I'm not a jerk. I have no good reason to not ship to the USA, so I would only be doing it out of spite, which would make me a jerk.

 

 

I don't ship outside of the US because I can't track the passage past the border for a reasonable price. I've been burned with the "I didn't receive the item" one too many times.

 

And for the record, I'm a huge jerk!

Fed Ex ground. Reasonably priced, tracks from door to door.

 

This is good to know - I've only sold a little on the boards in the past and was nervous to ship to Canada, (but I did) for just this reason. It's also made me wary to buy from a Canadian seller. I bet more people who say, "US only" don't know about the Fed Ex ground. Thanks for the info. Would it be appropriate to ask for the Fed Ex ground option as a pre-condition?

If you're apprehensive about buying from Canada, Canadapost has door-to-door tracking. Just make sure to say that you require a tracking number.

I bought some OA from a bordie here who was in USA

I tracked Item in USA on USPS website and once it crossed Border I used Canada post website to track its progress here. Used same tracking number
