Really sharp looking copy from what I can tell, your scans are still a tad on the small side.

I would guess about 8.0 IMHO!

8.5 to 9 - a bit hard to tell with the grime on the back cover. Very solid and I think this would cleanup real nicely with a good dry clean.

9.2..."dirtiness" tends to get exaggerated in scans...

Hi Chip, just wanted to say that I am not trying to be too harsh on you for this copy of ASM. I detect at least 10 spine stresses, one bindery tear LLHC front cover and edge wear along the bottom of the front cover too. The TRHC front cover is concerning as well but I can't determine from the images if it is just turned down or blunted. There also appears to be a small tear or impact damage on the RHS of the front cover-LHS on the back cover, across from the 'O' in soldier.

I see lot's of 9.0, 9.2 and even 9.4 but I didn't want to over grade from the small scans and give you a false sense of hope for the higher grades. Larger scans or feed back from you would be helpful.
