ALIAS # 27 - 2ND TO LAST ISSUE - RARE - $5

Sharp book, glossy NM appearance but upper back cover has a 1/8" corner crease. Grade down accordingly. Realize these last issues of Alias are almost impossible to find. No one was buying this book back in 2004. Think about the last five issues of Marvel's GI Joe series... or the last five of Transformers.

INFINITY CRUSADE # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - ALL FOR $10

All nice looking store stock books with Thanos all over them. Issue #3 has some spine stress below the price box, but all in all these should average out NM-/NM... with the issue 3 being like a VF. I can't find the #6, but if I do I will throw it in.

TALES OF THE TEEN TITANS # 44 - NICE NM COPY - $30

This is a nice copy. I wish it had a more striking gloss to it though. Structure wise its a mid NM. I priced it on the low eBay end. It's nice... but again, I need more shine ;)

SILVER SURFER # 34, 36, 44 - TAKE ALL THREE FOR $10

Each one of these books has the appearance of NM... yet each one has cover and spine stress that bring them down to VFs to me. If you want to press them, be my guess. Issue # 34 is quite important if you're into current Thanos, but again these aren't NM, they just look it.

CREATURES ON THE LOOSE # 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37 - ALL $50

Here is a sweet VF/NM average straight run of the Man-Wolf series that ran between 1974 and 1975. More than half these books are more on the lower NM end of that scale. All sweet books but of course the #30 has the most problems including some more prominent spine stress (damn brown cover) and a barely noticeable production line going up in a diagonal through the word "Loose" and into the Comics Code box... with the same being on the back cover at approximately the same area. I know these are production flaws and naturally occurring, but they are there and need to be pointed out. All the value stamps, which are notorious for being removed from this run, have been checked and are all present.

This awesome series started with three issues penciled by George Tuska, then in #33, a young George Perez took over till the end of the run. He's not the artist he is today... but you can see the progression from issue to issue. Even though George was young, but he wasn't afraid to do an actual two page, centerfold spread of magnificence (worship)

Side note of useless info... on the letter's page of issue #37 where the notice of cancelation was, there was reported talks of a Man-Wolf series at the time. I really wish that would have happened because I've always loved the character. I guess only one character introduced in 1974 wearing a stupid yellow costume was meant to prosper :( .

Great info on the COTL Man-Wolf, Rupp! Not meaning to derail and I will delete this post if you want, but I think the primary reason they didn't push MW as a primary character for a title was that they already had WWBN.

You didn't say if any of the books were GLOSSY either :gossip:

MARVEL FEATURE # 4 - GLOSSY VF/VF+ FROM 1972 - $25

COPY A

Nice flat copy of the early 70's return of Hank Pym's Ant-Man. Everyone is worried about the Marvel Premiere issue with Scott Lang and no one appears to care about this issue. I going on record right now to state that those folks are going to wish they would have bought this issue instead.

I'm here to tell you that this issue is MUCH harder to find in higher grades due to that darn black cover. This copy shows all it's cover defects because of it, mainly the edge wear. This copy is leaning more towards VF.. but its right on the line. Pretty darn well centered too. Press it if you want. I wouldn't... but many would.
