I love those Wows! I was Fawcett crazy about a decade ago, but had very few from that series.

PREACHER LOT - $25

 

Includes regular Preacher series issues # 15, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 32, 33, 54 and Preacher: Saint of Killers mini-series # 4.

 

All books glossy NM and my old store stock. I did notice that issue #23's cover had a production ripple on the right front cover. Its there, but overall it looks just as nice as the others.

 

Own this whole lot right at exact cover price from the late 90's... I mean that's pretty cheap considering ;)

As you can see, this is obviously Vic's old copy. He kept it in darn nice shape too. Date stamp on the back cover, Vic personalization on the front cover. I'm calling this one a nice glossy VF.

A glossy stunner for sure. Lays flat and looks oh so good. Just basic age wear brings this one down... but I'm telling you, for $20 you are getting a great deal on this dark, red cover.

INDIANA JONES # 1, 2 - BOTH NM GLOSSY - BOTH FOR $8

 

Great two issue run by John Byrne. This was in his busy, turbulent "NBB" period (No- Backgrounds-Byrne) of 1981 through 1983 when the man was churning out multiple scripts, pencils, and inks of some of Marvel's favorite books. Alpha Flight, Indy, FF... just to name a few.

 

Did I mention these books are over 32 years old? Well they are.

 

I have TWO SETS of these... for only $8 each.

FREDDY VOL2 # 23 - NICE GLOSSY VF-/VF - $8

 

Some cool GGA art here which you don't see everyday in the Charlton universe. Nice copy here with defects seen in the scan. Small 1/8" spine split up top there... not much at all. Check back cover top left and you can see that little chip there in the cover. It occurs on like the last couple of pages of the book too... but its so minute it really doesn't detract from the coolness of fishin' Freddy and sweet, sweet Peggy.

FOUR COLOR # 1025: VACATION IN DISNEYLAND - SOLID VF/maybeVF+

 

So its like this... I don't purchase a OSPG every year like I used to. I'm using online sales, etc plus my 2010 OSPG to price the majority of my items.

 

This book has always amazed me according to the guide. Check these prices:

 

GD $16, VG $32, FN $48, VF $112, VFNM $214, NM- $315.

 

Now this is a beautiful copy from way back in 1959. Is this the first appearance of Disneyland in a comic? I mean I know it has Barks art in it... but geez.

 

This book would benefit from a press if you're into that sort of thing. I can see this book being assisted to a even higher grade by doing so... but we all say that stuff because we are trying to sell ;)

 

Nice copy which I will let go for only $60.

 

It's worth it if you are looking for higher grade Barks issues.

FUTURE MAGAZINE # 1 - APRIL 1978 - VF/NM COPY - $10

 

Nice copy with just basic edge and spine wear. I remember reading copies of Future when we were waiting for our new copies of Starlog and Fangoria to arrive. This mag didn't last long, but it was entertaining for all us sci-fi buffs and Star Wars geeks ;)

Must of been a mild earthquake here in TN when I was scanning that front cover there... lol

 

SHOWCASE # 55 - GD+/VG- COPY - $12

 

Cover and centerfold well attached but as you can see by the scan, this copy spent its fair amount of time in the outhouse somewhere in the hills of hillbilly country. No silly... its not previously wiped or anything like that... just read more than its fair share. I guess that should tell you how cool of a book it is. I mean the GA Green Lantern is in there and so is Solomon Grundy... and the best costumed hero ever... Dr. Fate ! And you have to love that purple background.

 

Get yourself a nice key for cheap price until you want to throw down big bucks for a higher grade copy. ;)

Purple cover here... got to love that. Plus its priced at a buck less than cover price and has one of the coolest Avengers in it... with a cool cover too.
