Gald to say that board member lhcomics will be joining us for our 5th anniversary show. Great comics at great prices. :banana:

 

I have Heroes Con in June then this will probably be my next show so I will be able to restock and have some good fresh inventory for my favorite con in all of Ohio.

 

I had to miss last year but this show was solid in sales for me 2 years ago.

Not only is the great Art Baltazar returning to this year's event, but he's bringing some pretty amazing friends with him! Aw Yeah Comics Publishing is bringing an incredible line up to the Cincinnati Comic Expo for a rare group appearance! Don’t miss it!

 

Art Baltazar

Art is a super-cartoonist machine from the heart of Chicago! He’s all about the peace, love, and joy. He defines cartoons and comics not only as an art style, but as a way of life. Art started his funky secret art studio in 1994 with the his self-published comic book …“The Cray-Baby Adventures”. Since then, he created other comics such as “Gyro-Man”, “Captain Camel & the Space Chicken”, “Jimmy Dydo”, “Lunar Lizard”, “Meteor Mite” and the famous, “Patrick the Wolf Boy”. This guy shows no signs of stopping with Tiny Titans, Itty Bitty Hellboy and Aw Yeah Comics Publishing!

 

Franco Aureliani

Eisner award winner, Franco Aureliani is best known for his work on Tiny Titans and has also worked on DC's Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam!, the Superman Family Adventures, and The Green Team. Catch him and the rest of the team from Aw Yeah Comics Publishing at the Cincinnati Comic Expo!

 

Scott McMahon

Aw Yeah Comics Publishing's illustrator Scoot aka Scott McMahon is known for his fresh and entertaining art that blends storytelling and humor. His work includes Sami the Samurai Squirrel and Battle of the Superpowers.

 

Marc Hammond

Marc Hammond not only writes for Aw Yeah Comics Publishing but also runs their store, AW YEAH Comics, in Downtown Skokie.

 

Chris Smits

Meet publisher and writer for Aw Yeah Comics Publishing, Chris Smits! Chris is a co-writer for Dynamite Entertainment's Captain Action Cat, a comic featuring characters from the AW YEAH, Dark Horse Comics and Dynamite universes.

 

Alejandro Rosado

Aw Yeah Comics Publishing's Alejandro Rosado aka Aleroart is a Chicago Graphic illustrator coming to the 2014 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

 

Kurt Wood

The amazing cartoonist Kurt Wood’s newest comic is "Franklin Goes to School". This is the story of a young Frankenstein monster's first day of kindergarten.

 

Denver Brubaker

Cartoonist Denver Brubaker works as a freelance cartoonist/illustrator for Marvel Comics, Rittenhouse Archives, Upper Deck, and Aw Yeah Comics Publishing. Denver is also creator of the comic Tales of a Checkered Man.

2014 Convention Poster by Khoi Pham!

 

The Cincinnati Comic Expo is pleased to release the 2014 Poster and Program Cover Design. The image, a re-creation of Uncanny X-Men issue 141, is drawn and colored by Cincinnati Comic Expo guest Khoi Pham and text added by CCE guest Thom Zahler.

 

Khoi says, “I am truly excited to be a part of Cincinnati Comic Expo this year, and I can’t wait to hang with everyone there! I’m also nervously eager to get people’s reactions to the promo poster I illustrated for the show — I had fun drawing it and am really pleased with how it turned out. Fingers crossed!”

 

Cincinnati Comic Expo director Andrew Satterfield is excited by the design, “Uncanny X-Men 141 is not only part of a historic event in the franchise, but the cover is a classic. With X-Men Days of Future Past arriving on the big screen this year we thought it be fun for us and the fans to play homeage to the classic cover that the movie is based on. Bringing the movie back to its roots, so to speak.”

In addition to several 2014 Featured Guests shown, the image has its unique Queen City quality with CHOP, the Cincinnati Comic Expo mascot, hidden in the background.

 

Be prepared to see this image around the Greater Cincinnati area and in a local comic shop near you. The poster is included with those that purchase the VIP package. Then get your poster and/or program signed by Khoi when you meet him at the 2014 Cincinnati Comic Expo!
