FULL SET REQUESTS - NEW SETS

116 posts in this topic

The Five Ghosts:The Haunting of Fabian Gray entry on the master list states ONE BOOK GRADED.

However, that is the Census number for the TPB.

The actual series has a large number of books graded.

#1-#12, which include many variants and printings.

While I don't want to challenge your request, I think it should be discussed first on the Boards to see how others feel about it.

Personally, I don't think a list of #1's is appropriate for the Silver Age as they are usually NOT the character's first appearance. I think list of SA first appearances would be better. Look at Hawkman #1, it's like the character's 7th appearance. BB34 should get the recognition.

On the other hand, the request was for Silver Age 1st issues. Hawkman #1 (and the others) is of course the first issue, as opposed to the first appearance. A set consisting of an individual character's first stand-alone magazine title is appropriate in my opinion.

Wolverine - the Jungle Adventure

wolverine 1988 series #28 and 30

Uncanny X-men annual 15

What would you like to happen with these books? This thread is to request an entirely new set be created, which typically consists of dozens or hundreds of books. All of those books already exist within other sets.

Wolverine One-Shots

Wolverine (1988)

X-Men (1963) Complete

Just a heads-up that I will be focusing mostly on title sets for the time being so I can balance my time between grading and registry (so neither fall too far behind) but all requests are still being noted and will be considered in the order they are requested once I have an opportunity to work on custom sets again.

Hi:

This is a revised set list for a set I've already requested:

Set request: Superman Miniseries Collection

A set to showcase the Superman short series, i.e. less than twelve issues.

Please note that I first requested this set on 5/15/14, and I understand it is already in the next queue: among the first, if not THE first, in the NEXT set of full set requests following the current list, which is just fine. No problems about that:

HOWEVER, I want to provide you with a new list to supplant the original list I included with my original request (which is the last entry in the former full-set-request thread), which suffers from some omissions on my part. Please replace my original list with THIS list when adding the set as its turn eventually comes. Hope this doesn't cost me my spot in line!

Thanks, JM

The new Superman Miniseries List:

Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman: Trinity (2003) 1-3 (3 issues)
