So ebay ruled that 4 of your auctions contained span.  What was wrong with those auctions?

It was some of my earlier listings where I had either stated "not Cxxx" (edited) or "not CGC". Anyway - will give me an opportunity to go through some of my earlier listings and revise title and price. did a quick search on ebay. there are about 4000 such listings so the guy is going to be busy

Yeah, either that or you started a thread on that board advertising your auctions :makepoint:

not really - as mentioned in my earlier post - just added him to my block list but did not post  here until he started indicating stalking nature. He knew that four of my listings got revised the day after I revised them. He would only have that information if he on a daily basis checks my listings whether they have got revised or not

So you haven't received any phone calls from inside your own home yet?

So you were spamming your auction titles.

My friendly suggestion is to realize you were violating ebay policy, and you're a lot more likely to get blocked by boardies than stupidman.  keyword spamming is universally hated around here.

Plus blocking someone for returning a slab that was scratched and not listed as such, then being POd by it to the point of blocking the buyer and 'outing' him here for something which is completely reasonable.

Got some of that Charlie Sheen winning tiger blood in here today.

yeah - I could report him for using foul language but honestly the only people I report to ebay are people who are fraudsters

"I take it you are unaware that Ebay allows you to have more than one ID? Don't worry tho, I won't be buying anything from you. I like my dealers to be honest and have integrity. Plus you're one of those morxxs (edited) from the Cxxx (edited) board, that's reason enough to avoid you.
May all your slabs be cracked!"

Anyway - if the person is a Board member then please identify yourself

Well, he's not really a board member, but he's on the boards frequently lol

This has been discussed at length on Voldemort's board, so this isn't a new issue. There's a contingent there (as there has been at times here) that don't think the rules apply to them, and don't really give two shots about it. And if you say anything about it, you are the jerk for not minding your own business.

There are 1,349 listings, as of this moment, that are "like CGC" (or Voldermort/The other guy), which means that someone looking for the other is going to have to wade through items they weren't searching for to find the ones they are.

Keyword spamming hurts every seller who plays by the rules. It clogs up listings with irrelevant results, and frustrates buyers. I don't bother with reporting much on eBay, because eBay doesn't generally give a damn, as evidenced by the massive amount of keyword spammed listings, but that doesn't mean it doesn't do damage. The keyword spammers are like those who park in handicapped parking spots without a tag. Is it a serious crime? No, of course not. But does it represent a Cartman style "I do what I want!" attitude that makes life just that much less pleasant? Yup. They don't see the problem with it, and it helps them, so why do you have a problem with it, huh...?

Last weekend I got a message from an ebayer saying that some of my listings contained spam. Guess what - a few days later I got an email from ebay that they had determined that 4 of my listings contained spam and ask me to revise them. Not hard to guess who had reported me so the guy got added to my block list and decided to leave it at that.  Well - today I got the following message from the guy.:

"Oh no! Heaven forbid! You put me on your block list, whatever shall I do now? I gave you a heads up didnt I? But no, you're special, you don't have to follow the rules. I'm surprised they only pulled 4 auctions, you had over 45 of them. I guess I'll just have to keep reporting them until they all get pulled. Or you could be a man and fix them yourself????"

The guy has more than 1000 feedback but has only bought 3 items over the past year - so guess he spends most of his time going through listings and acts like ebay Police. don't mind if people wish to spend their time doing that but people with stalker behavior will cause nothing but trouble.

stupidman! (https://www.ebay.com/usr/stupidman!?ul_noapp=true)

Why not just be a decent human being and not keyword spam?

Wow....this just shows how little I actually know about eBay.   I simply list things according to their category and title....who knew that "shortcuts" have been developed to undermine this.  I suppose this is a prime example of being naive, but to be honest, this kind of stings....
