So, you're apparently this very experienced seller.  You buy a high grade ASM 301 for $30...but what arrives is a beater in perhaps 4.0.  So, with all of your experience, you decide, "hey, I think paying $20 for a $4 book is OK because it's better than paying $30....and jeeze, I just don't have time to go to the post office to return the book anyways".  This is your story?  Really?  I have a metric ton of 4.0 beaters I would love to sell you for $10 per....not even $20.  You bring cash, I'll give you a pallet of beaters.  Good deal, no?

I was willing to take a loss..  but $10 is better than $0.... yes or no?

I actually don't even know how to respond to this.  Carry on Memento.

You are wasting precious energy pushing keys and forming words that the intended recipient is never going to comprehend.

I agree that buyers have advantage over sellers. But the case that I'm dealing with is a seller who tried to scam me of a comic book asm 301 stating a minimum grade of 9.4 but was more of a 4.0 grade. This is after I waited 3 weeks for this thing. I was even willing to take a partial refund of $10 out of $30 so I don't have to deal with spending more time going to the post office. Then he refused to refund... then gets in trouble with Ebay.... then in spite comes on here making a story up and sharing my personal information (against the law)

Then starts a bully trend against me on here... I have 100% feedback he has much less and I sold on Ebay and had issues but never went this low

So do you think that is fair?...

You mean your whopping 20 total feedback?  zzz

Simple yes or no answer required here:

Did you...or did you not...send back a photocopy of the cover of ASM #301 stapled to a coverless Archie comic...?

Simple question.

And is anyone going to post a link to the auction in question...?

I never seen a Archie comic and the proof is that my finger prints are not on it. What I seen was a very bad shape 301.

That is a VERY odd thing to say if your story is legit...but it makes perfect sense if someone is trying to get away with something.

Now...your behavior in this thread greatly supports the story that DiamondCityComics has given, BUT...benefit of the doubt is a must for all, so, without being hostile and defensive, why not explain your side of the story in a calm, rational, reasonable manner?

Why would anyone do what was suggested?.... does that make sense??

Why would anyone return a comic that they didn't like....? Yes, that makes perfect sense. Happens all the time.

Do you have a link to the listing?

So, you sent back the copy that DiamondCityComics sent you, and DiamondCityComics came to these boards and provided his own photocopied ASM #301 cover, stapled to an Archie comic, just to smear you...?

hm

I believe so... because when I complained about it to Ebay they said that they will send him a warning and that he had to pay for the shipping back.... I was just surprised to see how many people supported a scam artist that shared my personal information out of spite.  So I had to get Ebay and Cgc further involved

So, you bought a 301 and I assume there were pics on ebay, but you were unable to discern it was a 4.0 and it looked like a 9.4.  Sounds legit.

Maybe you are speaking alien, after all.  From the planet Lie-Us.
