Popular Post Robot Man
I concur. I could go out on a limb and state that Marie Severin was (and is) the best colorist in the business. KirbyJack, grendelbo, jimjum12 and 4 others
KirbyJack
If that’s hers, then I’ll go out in a limb ( that beautiful limb behind the pointing guy) and say it’s her best work for EC. Edited September 5 by KirbyJack
Popular Post IngelsFan
I’m in the middle of reorganizing pics and books, and I thought I’d share this one. This is a full set of the Arnold Book Company’s ABChillers. All are low census books and it was a challenging set to put together. Popular Post OtherEric
Got Cruel Universe #2 today. The store didn't have the 1:10 variant, so I'll need to source that elsewhere. It didn't have any story that impressed me as much as "The Champion" in issue #1 did, but overall I thought it was a solid bunch of stories that did a good job of capturing the EC SF feel. I may be ambivalent about how well Epitaphs is doing, but I think Cruel Universe has been two for two so far in putting out good books that feel like EC for the year 2024. Popular Post Larryw7
I haven’t posted in this thread for awhile. Great books everyone, and I’m curious about the new EC comics. I bought this a few weeks ago but forgot to post in this thread, where it truly belongs. Point Five, jimjum12, Jayman and 7 others

They have some of the original flair but NOTHING like this… Raze

Popular Post Raze
First sharing in awhile... Im excited to have it and at the price I got it for. This was on the list of books I never thought Id own. I did post this in the PGM thread just to get a consensus on the book. Also does anyone know if I were to send this in for grading will they list the issues that are inside? Those issues are HoF 13, TFTC 45, SSS5 and VOH 27 Mmehdy, Jayman, KirbyJack and 8 others

The Horror annuals are probably among my favorite ECs. CGC used to list contents on their labels. Jim Halperin “convinced” them to do so. So if you ask, you can probably get them to do it now. Popular Post Point Five
Since you guys were discussing Marie Severin's cover coloring a few days ago... here's another absolute stunner. All the rich browns and reds, soft grays and teeny tiny pops of green. Jayman, BuscemasAvengers, OtherEric and 8 others

I'm not sure there is any better color design done for comics than her work on the last couple years of EC. Popular Post Mmehdy
Major EC NEWS!!!! TASCHEN WILL PUBLISH WEIRD SCIENCE AND WERID FANTASY XXL VOLS COMPLETE IN 2025...super giant size Weird Science is going first, no more BS 2024 upcoloring, taken from the original comics themselves. I have seen the cover of the first Volume which looks fantastic, has #12 on the front. This is amazing, getting the original coloring and the complete issue run in one Volume with house ads and everything!!!!! Just like off the newsstand in 1950's so count me in on pre-order!!! Popular Post Telegan
I know a lot of guys aren't into autographs, but I thought this seemed like a somewhat unique item for sale on Heritage yesterday that I was watching. I never would've guessed it would go for what it did. Holy cow. Raze, Jayman, Hap Hazard and 2 others

With only 15 copies this is quite elite. Obviously treasured by their owners. I know I would never sell it. If anybody had one, Roger would be a likely owner. 9K? Seems steep for a good copy of this book but good luck ever finding an EC like this… jimjum12 and KirbyJack

Telegan
Another nice one if you're into EC sigs. This one just sold on Heritage. Unfortunately there was one person out there who wanted it more than I did. Nice to see these do exist out there, though.
