I'll say possible 8.0 but the staining on the front cover is my biggest concern.

Hope you post some larger pics when you finally get it in hand! Really nice acquisition Chip!

Thanks! Hopefully the stains are something on the surface that can be lifted off with a dry clean.

I'm gonna say 8.0 as well due to the stains. Nice book, but after it's prettied up, even if all the staining cannot be removed, this book will be a real eye-grabber.

Nice catch on the dog ear. I would give it a 7.5.

 

Would cleaning the stains cause the book to be "restored" or given a purple label. ( off topic I know) PM if need be , trying to keep up with purple labels.

 

Great looking book !
