Sarg
This is kind of interesting if you're into comics and "true crime" http://zodiackiller.fr.yuku.com/topic/7089/Found-it-By-Fire-By-Gun-By-Knife-By-Rope?page=1#.U4podCjt020 One of the Zodiac Killer's cards to the San Francisco newspaper had the words "by gun" ... "by knife" ... "by fire" ... "by rope" -- meaning, he was murdering people by these methods. These exact same words are found on the "death wheel" cover of Tim Holt Comics #30 (1952). Zodiac also painted a red mask on the skeleton of his card, and the character on the cover is the Red Mask. Coincidence? It would certainly be bizarre if a 1952 western comic book in any way inspired a serial killer in 1968-70. But the Zodiac Killer was not your average person. adamstrange
One man believes his father was the killer and that the comic is actually further evidence to that. I have no idea of the reliability of this author or the online community that seems to be trying to determine the identity of Zodiac. http://stevehodel.com/2014/05/new-zodiac-halloween-card-link-examines-zero-degrees-separation-george-hodel/ Link to book excerpt http://stevehodel.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/BDA-II-by-rope-by-gun-by-knife-by-fire.pdf

Dark Knight
Yep saw it too at the last episode. I'm pretty sure the comic influenced him making his death cards exactly to the tee. Can't wait to see who their #1 suspect is between Sullivan or Kane... Or could be someone else not mentioned.

Dark Knight
What of someone out there has the very same copy the Zodiac killer had back then and then had it slabbed by CGC. Will they label it as being the Zodiac killer copy? Wonder what something like that would sell for. kav
Iksar
This comic was shown on the History channel's Search for Zodiac a few weeks ago. I was wondering exactly what issue it was. Turns out I have a copy!

There is only so much I will pay for stuff any more. I bid way more than I should. Was kind of glad I was out bid. It's the kind of book that will turn up later at a reasonable price if you've got patience. I may not be loaded with cash, but I'm overloaded with patience... szucchini
