VERY relieved. Turns out the package was delivered to a carpet store down the street from CC's office. Someone at the store's receiving department brought it to ComicConnect's office today.

Many thanks to CC for their efforts. They did everything possible to find the package. (worship)

Carpet/comics, same difference doh!

Glad to hear it went well.

I use registered mail for any significant books. It's slow but the tracking is excellent and the Post Office really doesn't like it when things go wrong with what they consider their premier service.

Jeff,

Good thing they didn't take it to the cleaners; or you would have felt the same!

Congratulations on getting them back!!

Any explanation from the postal service how they mixed up a carpet store and CC?

I had a friend who didn't get his mail for two weeks because the mailman didn't like the neighbor's dog, two houses down. He had decided no one would get mail on that street... That was a fun explaination from the postmaster.

There's quite a few businesses in the Metro building so that sounds promising, but it might also have been delivered next door as well as they adjoin many businesses on the same street. Maybe Metro can check that out as well. Good luck.

Very fitting place for the BM 49 to end up given the cover story…

Glad that it all worked out for you...

That's got to be ABC Carpet, on Broadway (opposite Metro), but they also have a location same side of the street as Metro. Huge store.
