I don't really have much to say about this con. I'm not a fan of the con itself since it's not really about comics. I went on Friday and the crowd was very minimal, which was wonderful. There were some fantastic artists in the artist alley too. It was super awesome to meet some new boardies and see everyone too. I LOVE YOU ALL! And if you didn't get any cookies blame Brad.

Certainly on Friday there was hardly anyone there and that includes dealers. I'm sure it was much busier today, but I doubt too many dealers showed up just for Saturday. They could just rename it the Cosplay Con next year.

Much more crowded on Saturday, but I didn't see people buying comics. The line to Reedus (Daryl on WD) had to have 300 people -- and his plane was over an hour late!

A couple of artists I know haven't sold a thing this year. Low attendance or people going just for celebrities will kill them.

I love Fridays at cons. In fact I rarely go on Sat or Sun. Its cheaper, less crowds and less people after the comics I want.

 

Saturday and Sundays bring out the die hards, the crowds, and the attention

wannabes. Much more crowded longer lines, less patience and longer time to get in.

 

All take my Friday any day.
