No I didn't. I will NOT buy CBCS. cause I'm shopping for a Tec 38.

Whoa. The Heritage copy just sold: $7,000

CBCS 7.0 Moderate (A) Off-white pages.

"Amateur Restoration Includes: color touch on cover, pieces added to cover, cover & centerfold reinforced, spine split sealed, tear seals, cover cleaned. Bottom of cover & right edge trimmed."

Did this book just die on the table, or too much resto/trim and not CGC?

Just thinking about the .5 restored that sold for $5K last year.

These are absolute killers

With newer and more advanced techniques of restoration, "Trimmed" will soon disappear from labels. I have seen very current examples of such, even CGC graded.

This is true. But how many people will send these copies to get the trimming professionally fixed and then to CGC? That is a long time to wait.

It sold for $8,300 with the BP.

Hey Red--On your Tec 38---so the only reason it's a purple label is because of the glue??

Yes. The glue reattaching the cover. There is also tape but that is not considered resto.

This can be undone and get blue right. 1.0 blue would outsell 2.5 purple.
