No discussion about Superman 1 at 90K in 1.8?

It is the nicest looking low grade Superman #1 I have ever seen. Despite the split spine, it is one of the best presenting Superman #1's and definitely deserved the hammer price.

are you sure single pages went for 0ver 3k a piece> I know of 5 action 1 pages that have sold for that much (SUpe story) but not Supe 1 pages since it is reprints

 

>3K does seem high. There is a page 2 on Ebay now with a BIN of $2,500 that remains unsold.

The two single pages actually sold for $354 and $315. The page on eBay remains overly optimistic in pricing and I don't think we'll see these prices for single pages of Superman #1 any time soon.

The cf and first page/ and or wrap are certain exceptions though.

Does anyone know why the CGC inserts holding the book in the slab are in the front instead of in the back?

to keep the fc in place.
