You sort of sold an Adventure.

Went -$300 on that. Can't consider that a sale but a pre NYcc boardie sale/trade

Does the thumbs up mean everything sold or that it was slow?

hm

I listed all my sales (thumbs u

Wow! Do you think it`s because that no big superhero movies are coming out until May with the Avengers Age of Ultron movie?

You would think in NY that there would be a few sales?

We've set up in NYcc every year since 2008. We've always hit 6 figs in sales. Had nothing to do with movies. Location was horrific

I thought you guys were in a rather low traffic aisle, away from the bulk of other dealers. I don't know, though, with mainly high-value books for sale whether sales to chance passersby happen much. hm

Sounds like the same booth location Rick had for Chicago. And that was a bad show as well

. Chicago was bad location too but still did almost 100k.

Sorry to hear this Rick......I've been watching your rise from that SDCC show quite a few years ago.... when you first decided to make the plunge into the "Big Ticket" market..... and your success has been phenomenal. I couldn't even imagine what the overhead at a show like this would be. It definitely calls for a complaint to the promoters and a promise for better accommodations contingent with any future bookings. You deserved better than that. GOD BLESS...

Not only was glass empty but I spilled some of the coke zero I was going to pour in it lol

Are booth prices crazy high at NYCC?

Im going to guess Gator's booth was $10k for the four days. This might be why some dealers were not present such as Dave Reynolds and Gary Dolgoff.

We planned the trip, but it was just too close to film release dates for us to work-in NYCC.

If we'd gone this year I probably would've found something to buy off your wall. :sorry:

Actually I do want to thank all the wonderful folks that kept me well stocked with coke zeros this weekend!

Darwin, Ray , Jeff , Eric & Tracy , Daniele specifically. I think that's the main suppliers of my addiction. If I missed anyone, lmk, it's not intentional! So many boardies came by (if they could find us , that is) that keeping straight is not that easy.

I found your booth by chance on my second day of wandering the con. Tried to take a friend by to check out a few books and couldn't find it again. lol

I wrote down his booth number in preparation for the con. I would have gone there eventually if I didn't see Adam first. In fact I wrote down every booth number I wanted to visit.

NYCC still sounds like a Zero-sum game. (shrug)
